Zeynep Sentek is a Turkish investigative journalist specialising in corruption, human rights, and the environment. She is now leading the climate network of Arena for Journalism in Europe. In this network, Arena facilitates journalists to do cross-border climate investigations and create a hub to share expertise. Read more about the work

Previously, she worked as the coordinator for the London-based news outlet openDemocracy’s investigative project Tracking the Backlash. Before that, she was the managing editor of the investigative news platform The Black Sea (
theblacksea.eu) and was the liaison for its work with the European Investigative Collaborations (EIC) network, where she was also a board member. She has a PhD in political science from Heidelberg University in Germany.
